Maningrida College uses research-based literacy and maths programs tailored to each year level, ensuring students develop strong reading, writing, and language skills throughout their education.

Literacy
- Roadmap for Middle Years Students Department supported program.
- Read Write Inc and Fresh Start Phonics Program ran across the school from Transition to Year 12 every day for 35 minutes.
- Structured Literacy Block 1 hour for T-2 and 2 hours for 3-7. Derived from the Science of reading and learning .
Maths
- Learning through doing program is ran across the school T-7.
