Strong Culture | Strong Learning | Strong Relationships

Child & Family Centre

The Manayingkarirra Child and Family Centre supports children from birth to five through integrated early learning, health services, and family programs. As one of the NT’s Aboriginal Child and Family Centres, it offers crèche care, Families as First Teachers (FaFT), and health initiatives that strengthen school readiness and empower parents. Open 50 weeks a year, the Centre builds local capacity and provides culturally grounded support for families and the community.

Lúrra Language & Culture

The cultural symbols—Marlémarla, the Three Special Canoes, the Two Fish, the Fishing Net, and Malála—represent the values that guide community learning and connection. Together they emphasise respect, cultural strength, teamwork, two‑way learning, and care for country. Each symbol teaches how people grow through shared knowledge, strong relationships, and working together across generations and cultures.
